Hallgarten signs deal as official partner of The Goodwood Estate

Wine importer Hallgarten Druitt & Novum Wines has signed a deal as the official partner of The Goodwood Estate.

The partnership, which starts this month, will see Hallgarten supply the entire business, including Goodwood House, Goodwood Hotel, The Kennels, Hound Lodge, Goodwood Racecourse and Goodwood Motor Circuit, with still and sparkling wine.

In addition, Hallgarten will as part of the deal be hosting a series of events such as wine maker dinners and wine tastings for members and guests over the coming months, including the Festival of Food & Racing in May, where the business will be showcasing a selection of organic and biodynamic wines.

The Goodwood Estate’s ”obsession for perfection” perfectly matched Hallgarten’s ethos of supplying premium wines and service, said MD Andrew Bewes, adding Hallgarten was looking forward to demonstrate this over the coming years.

As an estate with one of the largest organic farms in Europe, it was “very important” that Goodwood’s partners had an ethical approach to business, said entertaining & hospitality MD Rupert Spurgeon.

Hallgarten has a fabulous selection of organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines, which will go down very well with our customers.”
