Top London Wine Merchants require a new Manager.
Mill Hill Wines is a well established (25 years) successful North London Wine Merchants and we require a Manager to run the day-to-day retail business.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to develop a career in the wine industry, learn all aspects of running a retail business and earn a good salary at the same time. Previous staff have moved on to run some of the most successful agency houses in the trade.
The successful candidate will be involved in all day-to-day purchasing decisions and will have opportunities to attend trade tastings as well as in house tastings. They will also run consumer tastings and manage a sales website.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• Passionate about wine
• Well spoken and well presented, with perfect English preferably as a first language
• Good IT skills
• Self motivated with excellent customer service skills
• At least three years retail experience with management experience/training
• Flexible attitude to work although overtime will not be required
