The West Indies Rum and Spirits Producers' Association (WIRSPA) is using this year's inaugural Distil exhibition to launch its new Authentic Caribbean Rum (ACR) marque to the UK trade.
This is the first year a spirits only trade show has been run alongside the London International Wine Fair (LIWF) and WIRSPA sees it as an opportune moment for category promotion.
Neil Morris, WIRSPA head of marketing, said: “Distil represents an important event for all those in the trade with an interest in spirits.
“It's fantastic that spirits are being recognised with their own trade event and we're looking forward to educating many of visitors on the virtues and opportunities of ACR.”
