Bargain Booze is hoping to reach over 20 million UK adults this Christmas with its biggest ever above-the-line advertising push.

The new £1 million national TV and radio Christmas ad campaign will break on December 11 and aims to build on the off-licence and convenience store group's recent sales growth.

The ads will air for two weeks on selected ITV 1 regions, ITV 2, and ITV 4 TV channels and across the airwaves nationally on Talksport and on regional Real and Smooth radio stations. The Christmas executions will focus on new offers available for the festive period.

The £1 million investment forms part of a company-wide drive to raise the awareness of the company's franchisee-operated stores across the country, which trade under Bargain Booze, Bargain Booze Plus, Select Convenience and Thoroughgoods fascias.

Adam Burnett, Bargain Booze marketing director, said: "Christmas is a key sales period for every retailer so it is important that we showcase the strength and breadth of our offers in the run up to the festive period.

"The campaign aims to drive footfall, increase volume sales and attract new customers by promoting our competitive deals on food and drink products, plus the convenience of shopping locally."
