CIVB invites trade to Dine with Bordeaux
The Bordeaux Wine Board (CIVB) is re-launching two promotional campaigns aimed at promoting the ‘versatility’ of Bordeaux.
After a one year hiatus, Dine with Bordeaux is back with the aim of encouraging wholesalers and independent merchants to team up with local restaurants to host Bordeaux wine pairing dinners.
Dine with Bordeaux is open to the first 100 wholesalers or independents to apply on a first come, first served basis.
A minimum of 35 customers must attend for a £250 contribution, and over 60 customers must attend to claim a £350 contribution.
The second promotion places emphasis on introducing customers to a range of Bordeaux wines by enabling merchants to offer samples in store.
Last year, 50 wine shops participated in A Taste for Bordeaux.
Once again, each participating retailer will be given a £150 contribution and merchandising pack to host a tasting of at least four Bordeaux wines.
