Manchester Drinks puts nutritional and calorific content on packaging

Manchester Drinks has announced it is to put nutritional information and calorie content on its My Cocktail drinks packaging.

The aim is to comply with the responsible drinking message and display information to make it easier for consumers to assess what they are drinking.

Richard Benjamin, managing director, said: "As a company we pride ourselves on innovation and the fact that we display this information on our products proves that we are ahead of the game once again.

"As a drinks manufacturer we understand the importance of responsible drinking and displaying calorie information on our packaging makes it easier for consumers to take more notice of what they are drinking.

"As well as the RTD aspect of the drinks making them highly convenient for a range of different occasions, the drinks are suitable for people who like to have a good time but are also health conscious."

My Cocktail drinks are available in two flavours - Cosmopolitan and Mojito, the Cosmopolitans pouches contain 95 calories and the Mojito has 104 calories per 100ml.

Both have an ABV of 10%, with each recipe blended with top-quality, all-natural ingredients, to capture the true flavour of a freshly-mixed cocktail.
