Vanquish Wine to distribute Tequila Casa Dragones

Vanquish Wine will distribute premium sipping Tequila Casa Dragones in the UK.

Casa Dragones is a 100% blue agave joven sipping Tequila, handcrafted in small batches in Tequila, Mexico, and will be available in the UK at the end of January 2012.

Casa Dragones was co-founded in 2009 by Bob Pittman, a former chief operating officer of AOL Time Warner and founder of MTV and Pilot Group, and Mexico's first female Maestra Tequilera Bertha González Nieves.

The brand's Maestro Tequilero selects each plant and hand-finishes each bottle by balancing platinum tequila with a extra añejo. The bottles are handcrafted from lead-free crystal and individually engraved, hand-labelled, numbered and signed. Each bottle will retail for around £200 in the UK.

Vanquish Wine, which has exclusive rights to the brand, is a luxury drinks specialist and is focused on the sale and investment of fine wine, Champagne and premium spirits to private clients and the UK on-trade.

It was founded in 2004 by Jimmy Metta as Vanquish Merchants before becoming Vanquish Wine in 2005 when Metta teamed up with David Elghanayan.
