Anne Krebiehl, MW undergraduate, wine consultant and writer, writing exclusively for Harpers on the debate said neither of the two protagonists were able to make a convincing argument around a debate that asked: "Should the UK wine trade promote organic and biodynamic wines?"
In what was seen as a "missed opportunity" to have a detailed, comprehensive open debate on the opportunities, or not, around biodynamic winemaking, Krebiehl believes neither men took the issue forward.
