Blue Nun links up with TV chef to promote 'at home' recipes

German wine brand Blue Nun has linked up with chef, author and TV presenter Sophie Michell, who will front a range of 'at home' recipes to compliment its range of wines.

German wine brand Blue Nun has linked up with chef, author and TV presenter Sophie Michell, who will front a range of 'at home' recipes to complement its range of wines.

Michell, who fronts Channel 4's Cook Yourself Thin, has created five recipes that can be followed by her step-by-step cooking via YouTube tutorials.

They consist of a vegetarian summer salad, a barbecue-style sticky Kung pao chicken dish, hearty aromatic lamb cutlets, Riesling-braised chicken and a low-fat sparkling jelly dessert.

All dishes complement Blue Nun's flagship Rivaner Riesling, or the recently launched Blue Nun Delicates, which have a lower alcohol of 5.5% abv.

Michell said: "The Blue Nun Rivaner Riesling is really a super match for most types of Asian and oriental-style dishes, which I find can be really hard to match a wine with, and a glug or two of this fresh, fruity wine is great in the marinades, too.

The Blue Nun recipes will be supported by consumer PR and social media support.
