Château des Sarrins releases first organic vintage

Château des Sarrins, the Provence estate which is owned by Champagne Bruno Paillard, has released its first wine since being granted organic status.

Côtes de Provence Grande Cuvée Rosé 2012 is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Rolle, and will be available in 75cl bottles, as well as 50cl, magnum and jeroboam.

Since purchasing Château des Sarrins in 1995, Bruno Paillard has remained true to organic winemaking principles and has introduced a new winemaking facility, as well as planting new vineyards.

The Château now has 25ha of vineyards, planted on chalk/clay slopes at 250-300m above sea level, in the village of Saint Antonin du Var.

Côtes de Provence Grande Cuvée Rosé 2012 will carry an rrp of £10.49 (50cl), £14.99 (75cl) and £33.99 (magnum).
