Barwell & Jones adds Argentinian wine
UK wine agency Barwell & Jones is to distribute Argentina's Zorzal wines.
The Uco Valley winery was founded by the three Michelini brothers in 2008, one of whom will be at the Beautiful South Tasting in London to discuss his winemaking techniques.
Fiona Juby, marketing manager at Barwell & Jones, said: "We are thrilled to have the Zorzal winery on board as it isn't often that you get to work with new winemakers so full of passion, and who aren't afraid to challenge the norm in order to produce the best quality wines possible.
"Defying the myths of winemaking, the brothers use innovative practices in both the winery and vineyard such as vinifying in concrete eggs for their 'Eggo' wine, and harvesting and co-fermenting Cabernet and Malbec for their 'Field Blend'. The results are show-stopping wines which are exciting the wine world, and which we believe will be very successful here in the UK.'
The Beautiful South Tasting takes place at Olympia on September 11-12.
