Bibendum to host workshop on creating the perfect wine list

Published:  09 September, 2013

Bibendum is to host a workshop later this month in London looking in to the psychology of putting together a successful wine list with a panel of leading restaurateurs.

The session will look at how different operators design their own lists and explore the use of good design and what new approches different outlets are taking in. It will also examine how restaurants and bars are using cash margins to promote certain wines and what sort of price ranges are the most effective for particular types of outet. The debate will also look at staff training and how to get employees engaged with the wine list and what sort of social media initiatives restaurants are using to promote their wines.

The workshop will include the thoughts of David Strauss (Burger & Lobster), Scott Collins (MeatLiquor), Heath Ball (Wenlock Arms, Red Lion & Sun) and Charlotte Sager Wilde (Sager & Wilde). It is being held on September 17 between 3pm - 4.15pm at Marylebone Studios, 78b Chiltern Street, W1U 5AB.
