Myliko takes over Hazeley

Published:  23 July, 2008

Business doubles at a stroke

Myliko International (Wines) has taken over the Chester-based company Hazeley Wines. Myliko supplies the multiple retailers and off-trade customers and also holds stocks in bond and distributes to regional retailers, wholesalers and wine merchants. Hazeley started trading in 1993, supplying South African wines. Hazeley's managing director becomes commercial director of the new company; Martin Allen, previously Hazeley's sales manager, becomes southern sales manager; and Roy Mottram-Smale northern sales manager. The amalgamation means that the overall UK delivered business will virtually double, according to Myliko.
