Berry Bros & Rudd takes on Sweden's Karlsson's Gold Vodka

The Swedish premium vodka, Karlsson's Gold Vodka, is the latest addition to Berry Bros & Rudd's growing spirtis portfoliio.

The Swedish premium vodka, Karlsson's Gold Vodka, is the latest addition to Berry Bros & Rudd's growing spirtis portfoliio.

The brand will be distributed by Berry Bros in the UK and other key global markets excluding America as part of its partnership with US-based distributor, Anchor Distilling Company.

Karlsson's Gold Vodka is a blend of several varietals of virgin new potatoes from Cape Bjäre, Sweden. It is single-distilled through a continuous, column-still lined with copper and unfiltered to preserve the flavour and character of the new potatoes. They are then blended without charcoal filtration, to keep all the flavours intact. The resulting vodka is described as "full-bodied and rich, with a distinct viscosity and mouth-feel".

Peter Ekelund, founder of Karlsson's Vodka, said: "We are so pleased to join forces with Berrys'. It's a perfect fit for our product and is a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our international markets."

Karlsson's Gold Vodka is now on sale in the UK through Berry Bros, Amazon, Whisky Exchange and other specialist spirits retailers. It has an RRP of £32.50 and it is bottled at 40% ABV.

It joins other key spirits in the Berry Bros portfolio incluing Number 3 London Gin, The Glenrothes single malt whisky range and Pink Pigeon Mauritius Rum.
