Published:  15 January, 2015

Quintessential Brands is growing its marketing division with the addition of Nick Williamson, Claire O'Grady, Sam Chandler and new roles for Sinead O'Frighil and Kate Harrison.

All the new changes are adding muscle to the company's brand and marketing teams.

Most recently the company appointed Lizzy Johnson as the international marketing director in October of last year. Johnson was a former Diageo brand director.

"We are delighted to welcome Nick, Claire and Sam to Quintessential Brands and congratulations to Sinead and Kate on their new roles within the company. We now have an incredibly strong and experienced marketing team in place and we look forward to taking Quintessential Brands to the next level," said Johnson.

O'Grady, Chandler, O'Frighil and Harrison will be building out the brand management arm of the business.

Claire O'Grady, who formerly worked at Diageo, was hired for the role of international brand manager for Quintessential's Irish Creme portfolio of brands. Sam Chandler is now the assistant brand manager for Greenall's gin marketing campaigns with a focus on the brand's new sponsorship of The Jockey Club.

Quintessential Brands announced this week the sponsorship deal between Greenall's The Original London Dry Gin and The Jockey Club, which stages some of UK's largest horse races including The Cheltenham Festival, The Investec Derby at Epsom and The Crabbie's Grand National. The sponsorship covers a three year period from January 2015 and includes exclusive pouring and activation rights across 15 racecourses throughout the UK.

The newly created international brand development manager role for Irish Whiskies was filled internally by Sinead O'Frighil. She was the international brand manager for Greenall's gin for over two years prior to her new position.

Another internally filled role was given to Kate Harrison, who becomes the international brand manager for the company's premium gins. Prior to the new appointment Harrison was the international brand manager for BLOOM gin at Quintessential.

Williamson joined as international marketing manager and is responsible for Greenall's The Original London Dry Gin,Toussaint Coffee Rum Liqueur and the Quintessential Brands vodka portfolio.
