Heidsieck Monopole Champagne signs 3-year deal to sponsor Hyde Park concerts

Champagne brand Heidsieck Monopole has signed a deal to become the official Champagne partner for the Hyde Park summer series of concerts for the next three years.

This means it will take its place as the official Champagne partner of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park from June 19, 2015 at concerts including The Who and Taylor Swift. The series of live events spans 10 days this year, and the weekend concerts will be linked with a programme of entertainment mid week, including a number of comedy acts on the main stage.

Heidsieck Monopole will be the exclusive Champagne and be on sale in all bars and VIP areas. The exclusive Heidsieck Monopole Treehouse, a Champagne bar in the sky will offer views over Hyde Park.

Will Dowdy, senior partnership director at AEG Europe said of the partnership: "It's a great fit to have such a prestigious brand partnering with such a fantastic event."

Heidsieck Monopole Champagne, is celebrating its 230th anniversary this year and is part of Vranken Pommery, the second largest champagne group. This agreement with AEG Live represents the first time the Champagne house has been involved in a partnership of this scale.

Nick Hyde, chairman of Vranken Pommery UK, said "Being part of this fantastic festival is a big step in our commitment to grow wider awareness for Heidsieck Monopole, one of the best-selling Champagnes in the UK."

There will be a full programme of activation, including a social media campaign and the engagement of Heidsieck Monopole consumers and customers from both the on and off trades.

The live music event kicked off in 2013 with The Rolling Stones reliving their legendary 1969 gig, plus Bon Jovi, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Lopez. Last year Arcade Fire took to the stage alongside Black Sabbath, Neil Young and McBusted.
