Taittinger extends links with performing arts through RADA sponsorship

Published:  08 July, 2015

Champagne Taittinger has signed up to be the official Champagne partner of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for its major fundraising events over the next year.

The link with RADA - whose graduates include Alan Rickman and Roger Moore - strengthens the Champagne's brands links with the world of arts and culture.

It has been the official Champagne sponsor of BAFTA's UK film and TV awards for 13 years and has sponsored a category at the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards for the last two.

Taittinger also has a longstanding relationship with The Old Vic Theatre.

Lynn Murray, marketing director at the Champagne's UK agent Hatch Mansfield, said: "We are huge supporters of the arts world and enjoy working with companies that help foster emerging talent."

RADA director Edward Kemp added: "We are grateful to Taittinger for its support over our next year of fundraising events.

"These events are vitally important to RADA and help us to raise necessary funds which support RADA's training of exceptionally talented actors, designers, stage managers, technicians, and craft specialists."
