Edinburgh gin revamped with bartender-friendly slimline bottle

Published:  21 July, 2015

Spencerfield Spirit has bought out a new slimline bottle for its Edinburgh Gin brand which it says makes it easier to handle for bartenders.

The revamped packaging also features a cork stopper, a branded lid overlay with art-deco icons and a new label.

Managing director Alex Nicol said: "In an increasingly crowded category we needed to stand out from the competitive set.

"We discussed the practical issues of handling the bottle with bartenders, consumers and our designers, Stranger & Stranger.

"I'm confident we have developed an elegant solution that is attractive to both consumers and trade alike."

The Edinburgh gin distillery is located beneath the Rutland Hotel in Edinburgh's West End.

UK distribution is through Ian Mcleod Distillers.
