Laphroaig Islay whisky brings out 32-year-old malt to celebrate bicentenary

Islay's Laphroaig distillery celebrates its 200th anniversary this year and is marking the occasion with a special whisky release.

Lahproaig 32 Year Old has been matured in first-fill oloroso sherry oak to give it Christmas cake-type fruit, nut and spice notes..

It is being sold through specialist whisky shops with an rrp of £750 per bottle.

Laphroaig is distributed by Maxxium UK and owned by Beam Suntory.
