Bulleit partners with Hop House 13 for London Beer Week

Published:  22 February, 2016

Kentucky bourbon brand Bulleit is partnering with Hop House 13 Lager, as an official boilermaker sponsor for London Beer Week.

Hop House 13 is a new premium lager from the Brewer's Project at Guinness, which launched last year.

The Hop House 13 LDN pop-up bar at the Old Truman Brewery in East London will be serving Bulleit Boilermakers, as well as a specially created beer cocktail made by Bulleit's brand ambassador, Andrea Montague.

The pop-up will also feature tasting sessions, live music each night from the Communion Music record label, and pizzas from Pizza Purists designed to pair with the beer cocktail and other drinks on offer.

The full range of Brewer's Project beers will be available, including Dublin Porter, West Indies Porter and Guinness Golden Ale, together with some limited edition beers from the Dublin brewery.

The cocktail will cost £5 with a London Beer Week wristband. Beers will cost £3.

Bulleit is part of Diageo's Reserve portfolio of spirit brands.

The American whiskey market in the UK is worth upwards of £190 million and grew some 19% in the year to March 31, 2015 according to data from Nielsen.

The category over-indexes among younger drinkers, with 17% of value sales coming from 18-to-34 year olds, compared to 8% of spend in other drinks categories.
