Enotria & Coe partner with key spirits brands to target regional on-trade

Published:  01 March, 2016

Enotria&Coe has unveiled its plan to drive their newly-integrated spirits portfolio throughout the on-trade outside London, as well as within. Amongst hundreds of wine suppliers exhibiting at the Enotria&Coe Showcase tasting, were a number of leading spirits suppliers, including Diageo, Pernod Ricard and Moet Hennessy, who are working with Enotria to create a bespoke, but all-encompassing spirits offer, to add to their wine armoury.

'It's a logical fit' CEO Troy Christensen stated: "Enotria has a broad reach in both London and regionally. As key spirit distributors Coe Vintners have direct strength in London, and an unparalleled reputation for their premium mix of spirits, but they underperform in the regions, largely due to cost of service, so it makes sense to link the two together.'

Enotria has a strong regional footprint through its on-trade customer base, and is ideally positioned to develop the premium spirits market outside London, offering a cross-category solution.

"Enotria&Coe's prestige division is an effective solution for leading spirits brands, providing efficient cost of service for the buoyant premium sector of the market," continued Christensen. "We have the capacity and logistical capabilities to extend the reach of this growth category into the regional trade."

Enotria&Coe has appointed a spirits ambassador to work with the existing sales teams, and brand owners. "By collaborating with industry leaders, such as Pernod and Bacardi Brown Forman, within the spirits category, we can offer our customers, all over the country, a tailored solution, and help them activate and invigorate the opportunities to premiumise their cocktail and bar lists, as well as working with them to develop their more premium wine offer," Christensen concluded.
