Pinkster gin jumps aboard for partnership with global cosmetics brand

Pinkster Gin is giving new meaning to the term flagship after partnering up with Benefit Cosmetics for its Good Ship Benefit initiative.

The Good Ship Benefit aboard the R.S. Hispaniola is the latest eye-catching initiative from the beauty company, with three-stories of purchasing opportunities and entertainment currently docked at Victoria Embankment in London.

Launching in April for five months, the San Francisco-themed ship will offer customers the chance to discover Benefit products over cocktails.

The Pinkton Parlour bar will be serving Pinkster and tonics alongside a specially created Pink Lady champagne cocktail.

Will Holt, director of Pinkster Gin said: "Talk about a floating gin palace, this is a mighty fine brand partnership.

"Our ginspenser will be pride of place on the bar and we look forward to quenching the thirsts of the thousands of women who'll be coming aboard the Good Ship Benefit over the next few months. Pucker up, it's Pinkster time."

Kyra Oates from Benefit Cosmetics, added: "Given the Good Ship Benefit is a shrine to pampering, we only work with premium brands, and we've been fans of Pinkster's fruity number for some time now, we didn't have to think long and hard about this listing."

The R.S. Hispaniola is run by City Cruises who will be buying Pinkster through Bibendum.

Pinkster gin, which specialises in raspberry-flavoured and lightly coloured pink gin, launched a crowdfunding campaign earlier this month in a bid to raise a minimum of £600,000 in a bid to expand the business.

The venture with Benefit is combining leisure and retail, serving customers gin cocktails on the Hoola Decks before they visit The Brow Lounge, The POREfessional Vault and the Lashitude at the Upper Deck promoting Benefit's mascara.
