Morrison Bowmore has also released two new limited-edition bottlings of its Islay malt, Bowmore. Bowmore 16 Years Old, which will retail for 49.99, is bottled at 53.8% abv, and is a selection from 39 olorose Sherry casks.

Originally distilled in 1990, it is designed to accompany the 1989 release matured in bourbon casks, which was launched last year.

The second release is the extremely limited Bowmore 37 Years Old, of which only 708 bottles exist. It will retail for 595, and brand director Glen Moore says: These releases, demonstrate the complexity of Bowmore single malt and the influence the cask type has on Bowmore. It really is an opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors to own some unique examples of this fabulous malt.'
