Hambledon becomes WSET approved

Published:  24 July, 2017

English vineyard Hambledon is upping its tourism and education offering by becoming an official programme provider for the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET).

The Hampshire vineyard is to due to start offering Level 1 and Level 2 courses in the autumn run by education manager Katrina Smith.

Smith, who joined the vineyard earlier in the year, has a background in wine retail, logistics and tourism.

She said the new courses will formalise the vineyard's current education offering and help to grow its buisness remit.

“We’ve been running fun and informal themed wine tastings for some time now, but delivering WSET courses takes our education and visitor offering to the next level,” she added.

No prior knowledge is needed for Levels 1 and 2, which are suitable for those currently working in or are looking to join the wine trade.

More details are available from www.hambledonvineyard.co.uk/visits-and-events/wset or by telephoning Katrina on 02392 632358.
