NWTC to debut The Florist in Bristol

Published:  20 September, 2017

Up-market pub operator New World Trading Company (NWTC) is launching a brand new concept, to sit alongside its growing portfolio of brands.

The Florist will be opening its doors in early 2018 with a site in Bristol.

A pub concept with vintage elegance, NWTC said it will be once again bringing its drinks formula of cocktails and selection of world ale, alongside a deli, rotisserie and grill-inspired food menu.

Cocktails will be “clean, fresh and aromatic” featuring seasonal, garden-inspired twists with herbal notes.

Chris Hill, CEO of NWTC, which is responsible for The Oast House, The Botanist, The Canal House, The Smugglers Cove, The Club House and The Trading House, and parted ways from parent group Living Ventures last year, said: “We are excited to be opening our first Florist in a community which has such a passion for food and city. We feel our combination of award winning cocktails and tempting food will deliver something quite unique to the city. We are very much looking forward to immersing ourselves in local life.”

The new site on 67-69 Park Street, Bristol, will be situated in the former Bakery, an 1800’s Grade 2 listed building and will have room for 200 covers.
