LWC reveals Black Friday discount initiative

Drinks wholesaler LWC has revealed it will discount 28,000 bottles ahead of this year’s Black Friday weekend.

The discount event that will see over 200 product lines entering the sale tomorrow -Black Friday, and end at midnight on Cyber Monday.

Pub and bar owners and managers will be able to use LWC’s online ordering portal to purchase discounted drinks, with exclusive offers appearing within the portal when users are signed in.

LWC said it has over 5,000 customers already registered for online ordering, and that online sales had hit £8m since launch.

Discounts will be available on all product lines across the market including household names like Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Absolut & Bacardi at over 50% off. There will also be wines, cocktail syrups and liqueurs, tequila, dark and white rum discounted as part of the initiative.

“This Black Friday event is a fantastic opportunity for our customers to pick up some incredible discounts this Black Friday weekend – with some lines discounted by over 80% and product prices starting from just 50p,” said Martin Graham, support centre manager.

The event also represented LWC’s commitment to “service improvement and exceeding customers’ expectations”, he added.

“Black Friday isn’t just for consumers anymore - lots of businesses use Black Friday as an opportunity to maximise profitability over the festive period and we wanted to give our customers the opportunity to do the same,” he said.

Online orders are received by the LWC warehouse and distribution centres within the hour, with many orders poised to be delivered to customers the same or next day.

At the beginning of this month, Harpers exclusively revealed Southern-based wholesaler LWC Drinks is in the process of acquiring HT White & Co of Eastbourne.
