Boutinot Wines are looking for a great National / Key Account Manager to add their own personal touch to a portfolio of national accounts within a category that many dream of working in.

Reporting to:     Head of National Accounts

Hours:               Full Time – 35 hours per week

Contract:           Permanent

Location:           Cheadle/ Home based

The vacancy

Boutinot Wines are looking for a great National / Key Account Manager to add their own personal touch to a portfolio of national accounts within a category that many dream of working in.

We want you to become your retailers’ preferred NAM!  Fully supported by the Head of National Accounts to whom you report; the emphasis will very much be on you to deliver and grow your business sensibly and profitably. The wine category is a real “fast-paced” environment where strength of character, commercial awareness and pace is key. You will take pride in all that you do both personally and professionally and become the ultimate ambassador for Boutinot

So, what’s the job ‘in one’?

Quite simply, your job is to sell wine, and then go back and sell some more wine.  And do that brilliantly, by saying and doing the right things.

 

What will this involve?

  • P & L management as lead contact of a portfolio of key national account customers.  You’ll need to employ your commercial skills to bring to life a brilliant customer JBP.
  • Great negotiation skills, living by a win:win mentality.
  • Understanding of category management, delivering the ideal solution.

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • Off trade National / Key Accounts experience ideally with a background in wine.
  • Fantastic networking skills across all functions
  • Solution driven with strong planning and admin skills who delivers each time as promised
  • You will be a great communicator (which includes a good listener please)
  • Have desire to be the best you can possibly be.
  • You will be computer literate, adept at finding your way around Excel, Power point and Word
  • You will be a superb role model who takes all in their stride.
