Buckingham Schenk strengthens on-trade team

Buckingham Schenk has strengthened its on-trade team with the appointment of a sales executive.

Taking up his new position with immediate effect, Chris Morris joins from Matthew Clark where he was sales account manager for the on-trade focusing on delivering new business and wine training programmes to “high turnover” accounts. He reports directly to national on-trade manager, Emma Crowther.

Prior to this, Morris spent nine years working for Majestic as a senior store manager during which time he gained his WSET Diploma.

The new appointment had been made on the back of Buckingham Schenk’s on-trade arm having reached a point where it needed “additional support”, said MD Craig Durham.

“I believe Chris has the right experience and skill set to help build on our existing success,” he added.

Morris said: “I have been impressed by Buckingham Schenk’s progression in the on-trade and I am delighted to be given the opportunity to join such a vibrant company whose on-trade portfolio is going from strength to strength.”
