Buckingham Schenk boosts off-trade team

Published:  08 May, 2018

Buckingham Schenk has appointed John Ruck-Keene as off-trade account manager.

Taking on his new role with immediate effect, Ruck-Keene joins from Liberty Wines where he was national account manager.

In his new role, he will report directly to national off-trade manager, Alison Wray.

The appointment follows a recent review of Buckingham Schenk’s sales department and forms part of the company’s strategy to continue growing its off-trade market share.

“I believe John has the right experience and skillset to help us grow in an increasingly challenging market, said MD Craig Durham, adding Buckingham’s off-trade business had been its core strength for the last 40 years.

Prior to his stint with Liberty, where his focus was on developing new business with established and emerging accounts, Ruck-Keene worked for Enotria & Coe as national account manager and also held a variety of roles during a nine-year period at Majestic.

Ruck-Keene said: “This is a very exciting time to come on-board, particularly with the very strong supplier base and backing the company has from the Schenk Family Group.”
