Majestic partners with Corkscrew to offer mix-six discount on single bottles
Majestic has partnered with free wine recommendation app Corkscrew to offer ‘mix-six’ discount on single bottles.
The discount, applicable to all of Majestic’s wine range via the app, gives customers the opportunity to receive up to 37.5% off single bottles, with the minimum discount 10% - an offer usually reserved for customers buying six or more bottles.
The partnership formed part of Majestic’s aim to to help "untangle the world of wine for everyone", said Bryn Snelson, managing director, Group Digital Acquisition (Majestic Wines, Naked Wines, Lay & Wheeler).
“At Majestic we're all about finding wines that people love. Helping our customers to discover brilliant bottles and uncover hidden gems is the key, and the more ways we can help them to do this, the better - which is where the Corkscrew app comes in,” he said.
Described as “having a sommelier in your pocket”, Corkscrew uses a combination of critic scores, vintage rating and food compatibility to help users pick “the perfect wine” every time.
The app also works in supermarkets, restaurant chains and 400 restaurants in Central London.
