RHONE APPELLATIONS COME TOGETHER

New Comers join forces

New Comers from the Rhne Valley is the theme of the trade advertising campaign for the Rhne appellations of Ctes du Ventoux, Cteaux de Tricastin, Ctes du Lubron and Costires de Nmes, which is running in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. The "pop-art" visual "brings to life the personalities of the appellations". Sopexa UK says that by joining forces in marketing the four appellations will have a stronger voice. Their combined production totals 100 million bottles a year, 22% of the Rhne output. AC Nielsen figures to March/April indicate that their output increased 28% on the previous 12-month period.
