Men wanted for WSET 'wine' dating service

Published:  23 July, 2008

A new wine dating service launched by Nicolla Greaves at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) has been inundated with interest from lonely women but can't find enough men to meet them.

Greaves, who runs the WSET Institute of Wines & Spirits, said: Wine dating is the ideal way to meet up with like-minded souls for a giggle and spot of networking, and perhaps even a little romance.'

The next two events are lined up for 12 October and 16 November, for 28- to 39-year-olds and 40- to 55-year-olds respectively, with tickets priced at 25. The women's places have sold out, but there are still places available for men. During the evening, each of the 10 men spends five-minutes with each of the 10 women while blind tasting 10 wines. For more information, or if you know of a chap who should/could be persuaded to give wine dating a try, contact Nicolla Greaves on ngreaves@wset.co.uk
