Corney & Barrow, the London-based wine bar chain, is offering its customers the chance to win an MBA scholarship. Ed Gardner, C&B's marketing and purchasing director, said: It is common for companies to offer scholarships to members of their staff, but we think this is the first time that a company has offered a scholarship to one of its customers.' The company is holding a series of open events until 8 November, at which candidates will be vetted. The Ashridge Executive MBA costs approximately 30,000. It is a post-experience' qualification: likely candidates will be in their 30s and have at least five years' managerial experience, usually in an international environment.
