Nathie Johnston dies

Nathie Johnston, head of Bordeaux negociants Nathaniel Johnston & Fils, died at the weekend, aged 82.
Johnston developed a significant presence for the wines of Nathaniel Johnston & Fils in the UK, helped by Tony Finch Noyes.
According to Simon Finch Noyes, Johnson "will be fondly remembered by many in the wine trade as one of the greatest ambassadors for the wines of Bordeaux".
Johnston is survived by his wife Jo and his five sons, three of whom, Archibald Denis and Ivanhoe, continue to run the family business.
