Reh Kendermann has linked up with Weight Watchers to create the first-ever Weight Watchers wine. Weight Watchers Riesling (8.5% abv) is made from 100% Riesling grapes from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer and is described as fresh and zesty, with hints of apple and a light, delicate style'. Carol Andrews, Weight Watchers' head of marketing, said: 'In the UK there are more than 6,000 meetings held each week for members, as well as an "At Home Service". The average person slimming down with Weight Watchers would be allocated 20 points per day. With a value of one point per 125ml glass, compared to 1.5 for other wines, Weight Watchers Riesling is attractive to those who are looking to control or lose weight.'
