Harpers.co.uk relaunches as TalkingDrinks.com

Wine & spirits website Harpers.co.uk has relaunched as TalkingDrinks.com.

The new site will branch out from its historical base in wine and spirits and extend into the worldwide drinks market, including more news on the beer, cider and soft drinks sectors.

It will also offer a host of new interactive features designed to connect the global drinks industry.

New features will include User Profiles, Forums, Editor's Blog, Guest Blogs and a new look Events section where site users can upload their own events.

David Shrimpton, Nexus Business Media Digital Managing Editor, said: "This is a hugely exciting time for Harpers' online presence. TalkingDrinks.com will link what is becoming an increasingly global drinks industry.

"Breaking news will continue to drive the website forward while features such as content rating, user comments, forums and guest blogs will help to enable an online community for the drinks trade."

A number of site developments are planned for the coming months, including photo and video gallery submission for registered users, a personalised MyTalkingDrinks site and a raft of new networking features
