Miller Brands appoints new sales director

Miller Brands UK has promoted its director of sales for the off-trade to the position of sales director.

Miller Brands UK has promoted its director of sales for the off-trade to the position of sales director.

Darren Tendler has been appointed to the role, following the promotion of Nick Miller to managing director at the beginning of October. Tendler will take up the role with immediate effect.

Tendler, who joined Miller Brands in 2006, has spent over 20 years working in the industry and has extensive experience in senior roles including commercial operations director, director of sales and various key account and national account roles across the on and off channels at InBev, Whitbread and ScotCo.

"It's an exciting time for Miller Brands and I'm looking forward to building on our success. Our team are doing a great job in developing our brands in a challenging environment. We will continue to add value to the category by building and creating worthmore brands that differentiate versus the competition and focus on consumer connection," said Tendler.

Miller added: "Darren has been very influential in the growth and success of Miller Brands to date. He and his team have developed great relationships with our off-trade customers and achieved some fantastic results. His expertise and knowledge of Miller Brands and the industry made him the obvious choice for this role."
