Benet Slay to be Diageo's new North European boss

Benet Slay, managing director for Diageo UK, is from July 1 to become managing director for Diageo Northern Europe.
The move marks the creation of a new Northern European Diageo hub that includes France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Nordics and Benelux.
Diageo is to replace Slay in the UK with Simon Litherland who is to join the company from Brandhouse South Africa, where is currently managing director. Brandhouse is a joint venture between Diageo, Heineken and Namibia Breweries created in July 2004.
Benet has been managing director of Diageo Great Britain since July 2006.
