The International Wine Challenge is calling for entries for next year's competition.

The International Wine Challenge is calling for entries for next year's competition.

Anyone looking to enter the competition for 2010 can do so from December 1. The entry process has been opened earlier than usual to offer producers and agencies the chance to submit wines before the level of VAT increases in January.

Any wine entry received before January 1 will be charged at 15% VAT as opposed to the full 17.5% rate which comes into force next year.

Full details of how to enter can be found at the IWC website.

The IWC also offers a Free on Board (FOB) service to international entrants. Producers just need to deliver their samples to their local collection depot and the IWC will handle all shipping costs and customs paperwork.
