Champagne house, Lanson, has announced it is to rename its UK operations Lanson International to reflect its move to offer a wider portfolio of Champagne brands in the UK.

Lanson is adding Besserat de Bellefon and Tsarine to its UK range in a bid to offer buyers a one stop shop for Champagne brands in the both the on and off-trades.

It is looking to position Champagne Lanson as the perfect aperitif with its crisp and refreshing taste; Champagne Tsarine as more of a rich and full bodied flavour brand ideal for parties; and Besserat de Bellefon's Cuvée des Moines range which have been specifically developed as a match with food.

Paul Beavis, Lanson's UK managing director said: "In this exciting move we are consolidating the significant achievements made by the Lanson brand in recent years and adding to it two truly differentiated offerings covering the food and indulgent occasions, and all at different price points."

Lanson is also working with consumer marketing agency Mesh Marketing to offer an improved category management approach for its customers.
