The Restaurant Show gears up for 2010 event

The Restaurant Show is gearing up for its 2010 event by offering a wide range of live events, competitions and seminars to attract visitors working in the restaurant and dining pub sectors.

The show, which is now in its 22nd year, runs from October 11-13 and has a line-up that will see some of the UK's leading chefs demonstrate new and inspirational ideas, restaurant managers share top tips on how to enhance business and sommeliers and food experts offer advice on how to create a winning menu.

Planned features include:

? Centre Stage - where world class chefs will be demonstrate their skills and expertise through workshop sessions.

? The Competition Theatre - will see chefs from around the country go head to head with each other, to demonstrate why they're at the top of their game.

? Business Briefings - where visitors can tap into a host of experts discussing the latest industry news and issues facing the restaurant trade through interactive and informative seminars.

? The Drinks Quarter - which offers a chance for bar managers and sommeliers to find out all they need to know about stocking the right wines and spirits.

Clair Bowman, features manager for The Restaurant Show 2010, said: "This year's Restaurant Show is set to be the best yet - in fact I'd say it's a must attend event for those working in the industry.
