Maison du Languedoc holds the key

A brand which acts as the key to understanding the whole Languedoc region, in order to develop greater awareness and build increased category sales, is the new initiative from Languedoc producer, Jeanjean and UK distributor D&D Wines.

They have teamed up to develop the brand Maison du Languedoc specifically for the UK market which includes Varietal IGP and AOP wines from every part of the region. D&D's managing director, Lewis Jones says the aim is for Maison du Languedoc to become the signpost brand for the category that will deliver quality wines and value for money at a range of price points.

It will include AOP Treasures that features a Faugères and Picpoul red and white. The AOP Terroir Selection: Minervois red, Corbières red, Languedoc red, Languedoc rosé; Languedoc white and the IGP (Vin de Pays d'Oc) Varietals : Grenache-Merlot, Grenache-Syrah, Grenache-Cinsault rosé, Chardonnay Grenache white and a Grenache-Muscat (rrp £6.99)
