Super premium Ish Gin to launch in Selfridges

New super premium, traditionally made Ish Gin is to go on sale in the off-trade for the first time from July 18 in Selfridges.

The gin was originally launched in to the Spanish market as its founders, Ellie Baker and Fran Ameijeiras of The Poshmakers Ltd, own the Bristol bar in Madrid which claims to have the largest range of gins in the city.

Baker said: "I'm so proud to finally be launching ish into the UK market; we launched in Spain first as it made sense logistically, being based there and most importantly because Spain is a huge gin market. Despite the almost daily introduction of new gins in Spain Ish has taken off fantastically. Now I'm delighted to be able to introduce to my fellow "Brits" a new, premium London Dry Gin that stays true to its juniper roots with no weird and wonderful botanicals, the gin for true gin lovers."

The gin is made in small batches at London's Thames Distillers by Master Distiller Charles Maxwell. It contains 11 selected botanicals including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, almond, orris root, nutmeg, cinnamon and cassia.
