Kingsland Wines and Spirits has secured a new listing with The Co-operative for its Rising River range of wines from South African partners, Rickety Bridge.

The company that announced its new partnership with Franschhoek based Rickety Bridge wine estate earlier this year will see its Rising River Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and 2011 rosé available in Co-operative stores throughout the UK from August (rrp £9.99).

Wine Director, Karen Wilson, said: "We're delighted to be launching the Rising River brand with The Co-operative.

"South African wines are more widely known and understood than ever before, so it is a great time to be introducing these three exciting wines."

Rickety Bridge Winery is situated on the slopes of the Dassenberg Mountains in Franschhoek, there are 15 hectares currently dedicated to vineyards.

Its winemaker is Wynand Grobler, who took over in 2007.
