Majestic Wine has appointed Andy Lloyd to the position of buyer for Chile, Argentina, beer and cider.

Lloyd joined Majestic in 2006 as a trainee manager at its Docklands store. He went on to become manager of Docklands, Covent Garden and most recently the retailer's Calais superstore.

Lloyd won the Young Wine Writer of the Year Award in 2008 and completed the WSET Diploma with merit in 2009.

He joins a team consiting of:
