Berkmann's revamps Australian wine portfolio
Wednesday, 01 February 2012 14:29

Berkmann Wine Cellars has revamped its Australian agency portfolio, having replaced 85% of the current lines.

Around 60 new wines have been added from eight regions across three states, made up from 20 grape varieties and priced between £5 to £50 wholesale.

Berkmann's new additions to its agency line-up include Deakin estate in Victoria and Deviton Road in Adelaide Hills.

Micro-winery Lethbridge, located south of Melbourne and specialising in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, is only available outside Victoria through Berkmann.

Purchasing director Alex Hunt MW said: "Australian wine has progressed enormously in the last few years, and the whole team is delighted to be back at the cutting edge."

The new range will be presented Berkmann's annual portfolio testing at the Waldorf Hilton on March 8.
