Wemyss Malts has launched four single cask malt whiskies, as a celebration of the contrasting appeals of the different Scotch whisky regions.
Each cask has been selected by the Wemyss tasting panel, under whisky expert Charlie Maclean.
This latest range of four hogsheads comprises of: "Smokehouse" - a 15 years old from Caol Ila Distillery, Islay "The Malt Barn" - a14 years old from Bunnahabhain distillery, Islay "Rum'n'Raisin" - a 22 years old from Tullibardine distillery, Highland "Winter Spice" - a cask strength 29 years old from Teaninich distillery, Highland
Susan Colville, regional sales manager for Wemyss Malts, said: "It's the first time we've bottled casks from Tullibardine and Teaninich distilleries.
"As with our most recent bottling, this release has the name of the distillery on the front labels, as well as our regular helpful bottling names based on the aromas and tastes found in each whisky."
The recommended retail prices range from £55 to £110, available in selected retailers in the UK, EU and key Asian markets. |
