Wines of Chile has announced its Annual Trade Tasting in London will take place on September 13.

The event, which will be held at the Nursery Pavilion at Lord's Cricket Ground, will showcase around 80 wineries – from the largest to the most boutique, plus a number of wines new to the UK market.

Special features this year include the Indie Zone, which focuses on wines "modern" Chile has to offer that are ideally suited to the independent wine merchant; restaurateurs and wholesalers; and, to celebrate the Olympic year, Chile Champions 2012 presents a round up of the gold and trophy-winning wines from this year's key wine competitions.

There will also be a Terroir Seminar, which aims to help visitors gain an insight into what terroir in Chile really means.
