Runners from Accolade, Codorníu, Concha y Toro, Halewood International and Mentzendorff have completed the British 10k in aid of drinks industry charity The Benevolent

They joined more than 25,000 runners who filled the streets of London on July 8. The competitors finished with good times – Tom Barton of Codorníu led at 45 minutes, 47 seconds, and Richard Clark of Halewood International finished the race in 50 minutes, 11 seconds.

Paul Newman, chief executive of The Benevolent, said: “We are incredibly grateful that these individuals braved the wind and rain to finish the event. Well done and thank you on behalf of our many beneficiaries.”

The Benevolent was founded in 1886 to help those who have worked in the drinks industry and now need help. Today, it helps more than 500 people, providing one-off or regular financial grants, sheltered and residential accommodation, and more.
