Following the success of natural wine fair RAW, organiser Isabelle Legeron MW is setting up a pop-up natural wine burger bar at Borough Market.
The pop-up will be hosted in conjunction with burger joint Elliot's Café, which ran the English oyster stall at the fair in May.
RAW will offer a simple menu of take away or eat in burgers, with all the ingredients sourced from Borough Market itself. Prices start from £15 for a burger with chips and a glass of wine.
All wines available at the pop-up come from vineyards that featured at the fair or will be showcased at the next RAW in spring 2013.
Wines include Zanotto, Col Fondo Prosecco, Veneto, Italy, 2010; La Biancara, Masieri, Veneto, 2010; Riffault, Quarterons, Loire, 2008; and Le Casot des Mailloles, Poudre d'Escampette, Roussillon, 2011.
Natural wine grower Mas Nicot from the Languedoc will also be featured on the menu and at the 2013 fair for the first time.
RAW will be open from today (July 27) until August 12 on Stoney Street (SE1 9AD). Opening times are 6pm to midnight and the pop-up will be closed on Mondays.
